Biography
As a Junior in 2014: Competed in a wide range of throwing events and continued to show improvement... She landed a mark of 111-4 in the discus event at UC San Diego in late April... Her top shot put mark came at Cal State L.A., where she registered a distance of 34-6.75... Earned a spot on the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) All-Academic Team after maintaining a grade point average above 3.40 through the 2013-14 academic year.
As a Sophomore in 2013: Continued to improve in the throwing events, including shot put, discus and hammer… Recorded her season best of 129-9 in the hammer throw at the CCAA Championships on May 3… That performance puts her at 8th all-time on the Bronco leaderboard.
As a Freshman in 2012: Â At the Long Beach State Classic, improved in all three of her events with a 90-1.5 mark for discus, 108-11 mark for hammer throw, and 34-2.6 mark for shot put... Set a personal best in shot put with a mark of 34-5 at the Steve Scott Invitational at UC Irvine.

High School: A 2011 graduate of Canyon High School... Served as the team's captain and voted as the Most Motivational Teammate... Four-time Athlete of the Week and received two Coaches' Awards... Also selected as a Honors Athlete all four years.
Personal: Daughter of Richard and Bonnie Parrish... Has an older brother named Ryan... Sociology major and Criminology minor... Enjoys dirtbiking, camping and going to the beach in her free time... Favorite pro athlete is Michael Jordan... Favorite pro teams are the Chicago Bulls, Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Clippers and Miami Marlins... Aspires to a career in law enforcement.
