Biography
2009: Competed in weight events for CPP… Led the Broncos for the season in the shot put (36-5 ¾) and discus (127-8)… Threw the hammer 118-11 at Pomona-Pitzer.
2008: Earned CCAA All-Academic honors… Placed eighth in the shot put (36-2) at the CCAAs… Competed in all three weight events…Best marks: hammer throw (116-4), discus (123-8) and shot put (36-2 ¼).
2007: Competed in all three weight events… Best marks: hammer throw (108-11), discus (106-6) and shot put (32-3.25).
At Los Osos HS: Competed in basketball and track and field… Best marks: shot put (36-1) and discus (111-1).
Personal: Daughter of Jesse and Leticia Carrington… Kinesiology major… Enjoys hanging out with friends, dancing and shooting hoops… Making a shot from her knees during a basketball game is her most exciting experience in sports.
