Biography
As a Junior in 2014: Placed third in the triple jump at the Cal Nevada Championship at UCSD with the mark of 36-1.25... She also competed in the 100 meter and the long jump… At the Pomona Pitzer Invite, she collected seventh place in long jump with a 16-10.75 mark… In the 100 meter she had a 13.74 mark at the Redlands Invitational.
As a Sophomore in 2013: Competed in both the long jump and triple jump for the Broncos… Finished with an impressive distance of 37-5 on March 23 at Pasadena City College in the triple jump.
As a Freshman in 2012: Starred in the triple jump as a freshman, recording a season-best mark of 38-0.3 at the CCAA Championships on May 5... That distance put her in fifth on the Broncos' all-time leaderboard for the event and it gave her a second-place finish at the conference meet.
High School: A 2011 graduate of Ayala High School... Set Ayala records in long jump relay, triple jump relay and triple jump individual... Earned academic honors as well.
Personal: Daughter of Augustine and Josephine Agwuenu... Psychology major... Has three siblings named Ekene, Ify and Nonso... Older brother Ekene played football collegiately at Reno... Sister Ify competed in track and field at Sacramento State... Younger brother Nonso plays football at Arizona State... Aspires to work in the field of psychology... Enjoys staying active, being creative and spending time with family and friends.
