Biography
In 2013 Cross Country: Raced in four meets for the Broncos, including the CCAA Championships... At the conference meet, she crossed the line in 25:17.7.
In 2013 Track and Field: Competed in two different events in the spring season, the 3,000- and 5,000-meter races.
In 2012 Cross Country: Participated in three meets during her freshman cross country campaign, including a season-best time of 20:39.6 at the UC Riverside Invite.
At Pasadena City College: Competed for the Lancers' track and field program in 2012 and finished second in her 1,500-meter heat at the Pasadena Games with a time of 5:38.44.
At Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise: Earned President's Honor Roll recognition for her work in the classroom.
High School: A 2003 graduate of Pasadena High School.
Personal: Daughter of Thelma Mazariegos and Jesus Cruz... Apparel Merchandising and Management major with Fashion Retailing option... Enjoys watching movies, getting manicures, trying new restaurants and dancing in her free time... Favorite pro athlete is Kobe Bryant and favorite pro team is the Los Angeles Lakers... Aspires to be a Senior Buyer for a top-level apparel company.
