This past weekend, Katie Colin helped the Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team to a 3-1 start to the 2011 season. The sophomore setter showed her court intelligence at the Cal Poly Pomona Tournament, as she contributed across the stat line while adding kills, digs and blocks to her customary high assist totals. Colin’s best match of the tournament came on Saturday when she helped the Broncos to a five-set victory against Western New Mexico. In that contest, the Torrance, Calif., native recorded 47 assists along with three kills and 11 digs.
