Sarah Semenero helped the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team pick up two victories during the opening week of the regular season in a two-day tournament hosted by Western Oregon.

Semenero collected a career high of 20 points in Friday's 62-55 win over Northwest Nazarene and then caught fire again from three-point range on Saturday, recording three of her seven treys on the week in the 69-53 victory over the Wolves of WOU.

She also showed plenty of energy in the rebounding aspect of the game, averaging eight boards across the two contests. Semenero also totaled six steals last week.
