Cal Poly Pomona senior right-hander Geoff Broussard continues to establish himself as one of the top pitchers in the West Region as well as the nation for Division II. Broussard, who allowed one earned run in his eight innings Saturday and totaled a career-high nine strikeouts, improves to 6-0 on the season to hold sole possession of the NCAA lead for 2012 wins among D-II pitchers. In the 11-4 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills, Broussard allowed seven hits and one walk while holding the Toros to just one earned score.
