Junior right-hander Kevin Bosson tossed a complete-game shutout on Friday to lead the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team to a 5-0 home victory over San Francisco State. It marked the first career nine-inning complete-game shutout for Bosson, who was the Broncos' leader in wins last season. The victory was one of three for CPP in the 3-1 series win over the Gators of SFSU. Bosson finished Friday's contest with nine strikeouts while scattering seven hits and allowing two walks.
