Sophomore forward Aneska Alino continued to lead a balanced attack for Cal Poly Pomona this past week as she scored a goal and added an assist to lead the Broncos to a 2-0 showing on the road with wins over Chico State and sixth-ranked Cal State Stanislaus.

Sunday's win over the Warriors marked the Broncos' first victory over a nationally-ranked opponent since Oct. 25, 2004. The result also pushes CPP's undefeated streak to seven games, the longest undefeated stretch since the 2001 team won eight-consecutive matches.

Alino has played a key role in the Broncos' success as she leads the team in points for 2012 with five goals and two assists. In Friday's 2-0 win at Chico, Alino recorded an assist on the eventual game-winning goal. Then on Sunday, Alino started the match's scoring with a first-half goal.
