The Broncos challenged competitors from a variety of divisions and levels Friday and Saturday with events at the Trojan Invite hosted by USC and the Pasadena Games hosted by Pasadena City College.

Sophomore Justin Ellerbee turned in the top performance of the week for the Broncos as recorded a season best in the pole vault at Pasadena, vaulting to a height of 15-7. That stands as a "B" provisional qualifying mark. Last year Ellerbee, a Rocklin native, set a personal best of 15-9 in the event.
