Senior Ryan Carrell led the 17th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team to a second-place finish at the CCAA Championships in Chico on Saturday.

Three Broncos earned All-CCAA honors by placing within the top 15 overall. Brothers Ryan Carrell and John Carrell placed at No. 7 and No. 8 respectively while Mark Huizar received CCAA Freshman of the Year recognition as he finished 13th at 25:18.3.

For Ryan Carrell, he completed his fourth CCAA Championships race with an impressive fourth All-CCAA honor as he raced to a time of 24:58.3.
