Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Junior forward Chad Haysbert helped the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team pick up two victories last week as the Broncos topped Cal State East Bay Friday, 66-52, and Cal State Monterey Bay Saturday, 60-40.

A Sacramento native, Haysbert averaged 11 points and seven rebounds through the two contests while playing 28 minutes per game. He proved to be very efficient from the field, knocking down 11 of his 14 shot attempts.

Haysbert and the Broncos will return to action Thursday with a 7:30 p.m. home game against San Francisco State.
