Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Junior guard Ariel Marsh helped the 24th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team capture two more wins last week as the Broncos (10-2 overall, 7-1 CCAA) now stand alone in first place atop the conference standings.

Through the home victories over SF State and Sonoma State, Marsh averaged 16.5 points per game while adding an average of three rebounds and three assists. She went 6-for-10 from the field in each of the two games.

On Thursday against the Gators, Marsh scored 18 points in 33 minutes. Two nights later, she tallied 15 points in 26 minutes. The Chino Hills native proved to be very efficient from three-point range, going 5-for-10 last week at that range.
