Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Cal Poly Pomona junior Justin Ellerbee continued his 2014 undefeated streak in the pole vault Saturday at the Pomona Pitzer Invite in Claremont. He also broke his own school record, posting a first-place height of 16-10.75. Ellerbee now ranks at No. 3 nationally at the Division II level for the pole vault.

Ellerbee has competed in seven meets this year and he's captured first place in the pole vault each time. Ellerbee and the Broncos will return to action Thursday at the Mt. SAC Relays.
