The soccer fans at Jesse Owens Field had withstood the brutal heat for 90 minutes of scoreless action on Sunday. The Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer team didn't waste much time getting on the scoreboard in overtime though as Alexander Turkson knocked in the game-winning goal in the 93rd minute to lift the Broncos over nationally-ranked Cal State L.A. in a 1-0 victory.
The Broncos return to action Thursday, September 18th, at Kellogg Field against Azusa Pacific. Kickoff is scheduled for 7PM
