In Friday's game against Cal State East Bay Ochoa found himself on the advantageous side of a free kick and sent it in from 20 yards. That marked his first goal since arriving at CPP.
To seal the Pioneers' fate in the second half, Ochoa would step up yet again. Just two minutes after he subbed back in, Gonzalez Diaz and Alexander Turkson found an open Ochoa who fired one by the Pioneers' keeper to give the Broncos' their third and final goal of the day.
On Sunday against Cal State Stanislaus, in the 35th minute, Armando Ochoa, who scored his first and second goal as a Bronco on Friday, found the back of the net again. He was aided by two of CPP's squad, Daniel Asor and Jesus Tamayo.
Just three minutes later, the Broncos did it again. On a corner kick, Ochoa found an open Eshel Chardon, who crossed the ball to CPP's assist leader Daniel Garcia Jr. The senior midfielder from Lakewood sent a long pass to Leonel Espinoza, who provided a beauty of a header to give the Broncos the 2-0 lead.
