To ring in the 2015 year, Cal Poly Pomona hosted Chico State and Cal State Stanislaus. Friday’s matchup with the Wildcats was a hard-fought game, but the visitors to Kellogg Gym ended up besting the Broncos 51-50. Saturday was a different story however, as the 60-57 victory provided head coach Greg Kamansky with his 300th win at Cal Poly Pomona.
Friday saw Terrence Drisdom go 7-for-12 from the field, complete with a pair of triples and a flawless performance from the line to post 20 points for the Broncos. The Corona native also provided an assist and a steal.
Saturday’s contest saw the senior collect 22 points and yet again go 7-for-12 from the field, this time with three from past the arc and 5-for-6 from the line. He also tallied eight defensive rebounds, three assists, and a steal en-route to CPP’s 60-57 win.
