In the Broncos’ CCAA play this past weekend, senior Jada Blackwell provided dominant performances in both appearances. The Broncos played both Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State L.A.
Blackwell turned in a stellar 12-for-24 tally from the floor on Friday night, complete with a pair of successful shots from beyond the arc, and six fruitful shots from the line, totaling 32 points. The Rancho Cucamonga native also provided three assists, two blocks, and a steal.
The matchup against Cal State L.A. on Saturday saw the Etiwanda High graduate provide 24 points in the Broncos’ 80-64 victory. A CPP leading 10-of-14 shooting earned Blackwell a .714 percentage. She sank a pair of three pointers as well as both her shots from the line. Once again she provided three assists and a steal.
