Ryan Webberley was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the NCAA Division II West Regional after totaling eight hits over the five games held at Mt. SAC's Mazmanian Field. A junior shortstop, Webberley went 3-for-5 in the opening round win over Point Loma.

He also connected for a key RBI in the West Region title win over UC San Diego.

The Broncos will take on No. 1-ranked Tampa on Sunday in Cary, N.C., to start D-II World Series action.
