The Broncos' volleyball team split this past week of play, defeating the Humboldt State Jacks in five sets, and falling to No. 21 Sonoma State on Saturday.
Deanna Blaine provided the Broncos with some impressive numbers through both matches. In the 3-2 win over the Jacks, the sophomore totaled 12 kills and 16 digs.
Looking at the Saturday matchup against the nationally-ranked Seawolves, the La Habra native recorded a season-high .308 kill percentage, registering 16 kills on 39 chances. She also aided the Green and Gold defensively, adding eight digs to her resume.
