Francisco Gomez helped the Cal Poly Pomona men's cross country team place second at the CCAA Championships in San Francisco on Sunday. Gomez placed fifth individually, crossing the line in 24:42.5 to finish right behind teammate Mark Huizar. The Broncos will return to action on Nov. 7 at the West Region Championships in Oregon.
