Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

The Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball program started their 2015-16 season off right, winning their first two games. On Friday, the CPP squad dominated the Argonauts of Notre Dame de Namur in the first game of the Azusa Pacific Tournament. The final score in the contest was 84-46. 

Jordan Faison provided the Green and Gold with a 60% shooting that resulted in 16 total points. He also tallied five rebounds in the contest and a steal. 

On Saturday, the Broncos played the tournament's host school Azusa Pacific who have been picked to finish atop the PacWest. In the game, Faison led both teams with 24 points. His tally was as a result of an 11-for-16 shooting from the field with a pair of free throws added in. He also recorded nine boards in the game. The result of the game was in the Broncos' favor with a score of 79-72.
