The Cal Poly Pomona women's track and field team competed at the Triton Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The meet was hosted by the Broncos' California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) rivals, the UC San Diego Tritons.

In the 1500 meter race, CPP was lead by senior Lizette Huerta. The Ontario, Calif. native recorded a provisional qualifying time of 4:32.86 in the event and tallied an overall fourth place finish.
