Junior Luis Najera Jr. scored two goals this past week, leading Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer to a win on Friday against Stanislaus State and then a draw on Sunday with Cal State East Bay. The Broncos won in overtime on Friday night and Najera scored the game winner, which was a penalty kick in the 94th minute. Then on Sunday in the 16th minute, Najera showed resiliency in the box as he fell to the ground but still managed to line a shot into the left corner of the net. The two goals are the first of the season for the junior from Tulare.
