Daniel Pitts helped the Cal Poly Pomona Broncos greatly in their four-game sweep of the Cal State San Bernardino Coyotes  this past weekend. The outfielder tallied seven hits in 13 at bats, racking up five runs scored and three RBIs in the process. 

His performance at the plate included a double and a homerun and a .846 slugging percentage. He also walked twice and was hit by a pitch to reach safely 10 times and hols a .625 on base percentage. In the field, Pitts made zero errors in 12 attempts. 

With the sweep this weekend, and a couple key losses around the conference, the CPP squad clinched the CCAA South Division Title and currently carry a 31-14 overall record, complete with a 23-10 mark in conference play.
