Cal Poly Pomona Athletics

Samantha Figueroa starred for the Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team last week, helping the Broncos go 2-2 at the D2 West Region Volleyball Showcase. Among all of the players at the tournament, Figueroa ranked second in digs per set with an average of 6.62. Her highest total of the week came against Point Loma as she collected 28 in the three-set sweep of the Sea Lions. Currently through the first two weeks of 2016, Figueroa leads all CCAA players in digs per set (5.32).
