La'kenya Simon West put together an impressive two performances last weekend in helping the Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team start their 2010-11 season strong. On Friday against Nevada, Simon West contributed 12 points on 5-for-11 shooting, including 2-for-6 from three-point range. In the Broncos' 80-55 win over Dominican Sunday at home, Simon West tallied a career-high 22 points while knocking down seven of her 10 field-goal attempts.
