Dwayne Fells of the 15th-ranked Cal Poly Pomona men’s basketball team earned Wilson/California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week honors for the week of Dec. 13 to Dec. 19, conference officials announced Monday. Fells, a junior forward from Fullerton, Calif., poured in a career-high 20 points during Saturday’s 80-58 win for the Broncos over Simon Fraser. The contest concluded CPP’s non-conference part of the 2010-11 schedule and wrapped up the two-day tournament hosted by Grand Canyon.
