Despite the Cal Poly Pomona men’s basketball team dropping two road contests this past week, Dwayne Fells put together two impressive performances for the Broncos. On Thursday at Sonoma State, the Fullerton, Calif., native totaled 14 points, eight rebounds and three assists. In Saturday’s two-point loss to Humboldt State, Fells netted a career-high 24 points on 11-for-16 shooting in 36 minutes played. The junior forward lead the conference in field-goal percentage by more than 80 percentage points, with a 66.3 clip.
