Reyana Colson, a senior from Compton, Calif., led the Cal Poly Pomona women’s basketball team to a pair of home wins this past weekend, as the Broncos defeated Cal State Stanislaus on Friday, 80-57, and then topped 24th-ranked Chico State Saturday, 62-42. Against the Warriors, Colson had a tough shooting night but still finished with 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. The next night, she bounced back with a stellar 26-point performance on 8-for-13 shooting. She now has 1,495 career points to her name and owns the conference lead for scoring average this season.
