As the Cal Poly Pomona men’s basketball team picked up two hard-fought wins in low-scoring affairs, Kevin Menner put together two fine performances in leading the Broncos’ offense. Menner shot 15-for-22 (68.2 percent) between the two contests, tallying 25 points in Friday’s 64-48 win over CSULA and 20 points in Saturday’s 49-43 wild victory against eighth-ranked CSUDH. The senior forward’s play on the offensive end helped the Broncos record a 22-0 run to end Saturday’s game against the Toros.
