Allen Rodarte continued his strong start to the 2011 season last week, as he helped the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team capture a series win against Cal State Dominguez Hills by taking three of four games from the Toros. On Friday, he earned the victory as he threw the final scoreless inning for CPP as the offense led the Broncos to a come-from-behind win. The next day, it proved to be a similar story as Rodarte threw the final 2.1 frames and didn’t allow an earned run. The CPP attack charged back and secured an 8-6 victory on the road against CSUDH. So far this season, the junior has thrown seven innings and allowed just one walk.
