POMONA – Cal State Stanislaus' Jio Santana scored the game's only goal when he scored in the 79th minute as the visiting Warriors defeated Cal Poly Pomona 1-0 in California Collegiate Athletic Association men's soccer Friday night.

The Warriors improved to 8-5-1 and 5-5-1 in the CCAA, while CPP dropped to 6-7-1, 4-6-1.

The shutout defeat was CPP's fourth this season and third 1-0 loss.

CSUS outshot CPP 14-11 as the Broncos fired four shots at Warriors GK Javier Rosales. Senior Dustin Suppe had three SOG.

The Broncos return to Kellogg Field on Sunday when they play host to Chico State. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
