POMONA – Jessica Murphy scored twice to lead visiting Cal State Dominguez Hills over Cal Poly Pomona 2-0 in California Collegiate Athletic Association women's soccer Friday night at Kellogg Field.

The loss was CPP's fourth straight as it prepares for Sunday's game at home against Cal State L.A. CPP is 6-5, 2-5, while CSUDH improved to 7-5, 6-3.

Murphy put the Toros on the scoreboard with a shot to the left of Broncos GK Ashley Salerno in the game's 7th minute. The game remained 1-0 until Murphy scored again in the 79th minute of play.

The Broncos fired 14 shots with eight shots on goal, but couldn't get past Toros' GK Alyssa Congdon. Sophomore Justine Barclay had two SOG for CPP, while six others had just one SOG.

The Broncos were out-shot 25-14 and had just one SOG in the first 45 minutes of play.
