CARSON, Calif. -
The Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 road loss Friday night to Cal State Dominguez Hills, as the Broncos dropped to 7-7-3 overall in 2010.

The Broncos limited the Toros' chances overall, as CSUDH ended up with a shot advantage of 8-5. Nonetheless, CSUDH struck for two goals in the first 13 minutes and held the CPP attack scoreless through the full 90 minutes of action.

The Toros, holding a 9-5-1 record in the California Collegiate Athletic Association, are now fighting with Cal State Stanislaus for the fourth and final spot of the conference tournament. CSUDH hosts Cal State San Bernardino Sunday while CSUS, also with a 9-5-1 mark, will welcome Chico State to Turlock.

CPP will travel to play its season finale on Sunday at Cal State L.A. The Golden Eagles sit at 12-3 in CCAA play and currently sit in first place of the league's South Division.

On Friday night against the Toros, Callie Wilson led the Broncos in shots with two of her own. CPP goalkeeper Natalie Guevera made two saves as she played the final 43:26 of action.

CSUDH's Taylor Canatsey struck for the match's first goal at 5:51, as she collected a through ball and beat Broncos' starting netminder Sarah Rohman to the far post.

Jessica Murphy registered the next two scores for the Toros, tallying her 13th and 14th goals of 2010.

Kickoff between the Broncos and Golden Eagles is set for 2 p.m. on Sunday.
