CHICO
-- Junior All-CCAA forward Justine Barclay found herself free near the goal and fired the game-winner on a cross from Gloria Gonzalez as visiting Cal Poly Pomona remained unbeaten on the season with a 1-0 OT victory over Chico State in CCAA women's soccer Friday.

CPP earned the victory in the game's 95th minute when junior Jennifer Rivera (Hacienda Heights) earned a through ball. She sent it left to Gonzlalez (Whittier), who fired a cross that Barclay (Toronto) connected on for her first goal of the season.

The victory was monumental as CPP, now 4-0-1 overall and 2-0-1 CCAA, tied the school record for consecutive shutouts with five to open th season. Both the 1988 and 1999 teams earned the feat and CPP goes for the school record sixth Sunday at Cal State Stanislaus.

"We had another outstanding team win today,'' coach Isabelle Harvey said. "From the goalkeepers to our defenders, on up to the middles and forwards. We played very well on the whole, but picked things up in the second half.''

Freshman Sarah Rohman (Santee) had two saves as CPP out-shot Chico State 10-7. Rohman is now 3-0-1 on the year and earned her third shutout.

Chico State fell to 2-3, 1-2.
