POMONA  -- Two CCAA South Division leaders squared off on Sunday at Kellogg Field and it turned out to be a tale of two halves.  CSUDH defeated Cal Poly Pomona 5-1.  The Broncos struck first on a goal by Michelle Nava (35:35) who was assisted by Brittany Aldrich.  That is how the first half finished.    The second half belonged to the Toros as they scored five goals.  In a span of nine minutes, CSUDH scored three times on goals by Taylor Canatsey at 50:25 (unassisted) and again at 56:32 with an assist from Lexi Ford.  A penalty kick by Jessica Murphy at 59:25 made the score 3-1.  CSUDH added goals in the seventy-sixth (Melissa Livergood assisted by Jessica Murphy) and seventy-seventh (Yadira Gomez assisted by Marlene Becerra) minute to account for the scoring.

Cal Poly Pomona is now 5-2-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the CCAA.  CSU Dominguez Hills moves to 6-1-1 and 4-1-1 in the CCAA.  Cal Poly Pomona plays at CSU East Bay on Friday, while CSUDH is at Chico State.
