POMONA, Calif. - With four wins through the first two weeks of the 2015-16 season, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team will play its final two non-conference games on Tuesday and Saturday.
A season tally of 4-0 is what the CPP squad will carry with them into Tuesday's 7:00 p.m. matchup against The Master's College. The contest will be held at Bross Gym on The Master's College campus.
In the all-time series between the two squads, CPP holds a slight advantage over the Mustangs, winning five of the nine contests. Last season, when the tally was tied at four wins apiece, the Green and Gold topped the Santa Clarita based opposition 72-58 at Kellogg Arena.
In the last game the Green and Gold played, they topped the Warriors of Winona State 77-50. In the game, four Broncos reached double-digit points as
Quentin Taylor and his 17 points led them. Just behind Taylor and sinking 5-of-6 shots from beyond the arc was freshman

After the Broncos play the Mustangs, they will set their sights on Young Harris, a school based in Young Harris, Ga. It will be the first time the two squads have ever shared the court.
The Mountain Lions have thus far played four games this season, providing their fans with a 1-3 tally. Prior to heading to Kellogg Arena, YHC will take a trip around SoCal as they challenge the Sea Lions of Point Loma and the Azusa Pacific Cougars.
Saturday's game with the Mountain Lions will take place at 2:00 p.m. in Kellogg Arena on CPP's campus.
