Biography
As a Junior in 2014-15: Earned All-CCAA First Team honors for the second-straight year...On March 23, he earned All-West Region Second Team Honors... Knocked down 168 field goals, which was good for second in the CCAA... Fifth in the CCAA in field goal percentage (52.5)... Averaged 13.4 points per game and 5.9 rebounds... Helped the Broncos' defense rank No. 2 in the nation... Logged a season-high 24 points against UC San Diego on Dec. 22... Racked-up four double-double performances on the season.
As a Sophomore in 2013-14: Earned All-CCAA First Team honors for the first time in his career... Incredibly accurate and consistent from the field, knocking down 56.6 percent of his shots this season after recording a 55.6-percent mark last year... Aside from averaging 14.2 points per game in 2013-14, Faison also ranked in the top 10 among CCAA players for both total rebounds (7th - 165) and blocks (3rd - 31)... Scored a career-high 26 points against Cal State San Bernardino in the Broncos' 88-68 rout of the Coyotes on Feb. 1... Recorded two double-double performances, first on Dec.14 against Humboldt State and also on Feb. 15 versus SF State.
As a Freshman in 2012-13: One of just three Broncos to appear in all 31 of the team's games… Finished the season as the team’s most efficient shooter with a 57.6 field goal percentage, which ranked fourth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA)… Recorded a season-high 15 points against Chico State on Feb. 2, shooting 7-10 from the field that game... Averaged 3.1 rebounds per game and grabbed a season-high six boards in the season opener against The Master's College... Played well in the NCAA Tournament and through the two games, he averaged 12 points while going 10-for-20 from the field overall.
High School: A 2012 graduate of El Toro High School... Tallied one of the top field-goal percentages in program history for El Toro High School... In a postseason game against Long Beach Cabrillo, he totaled a team-high 21 points to help the Chargers put together a 16-8 run in the comeback win... During the 2011-12 season, he helped the Chargers to a 22-9 overall record while competing out of the South Coast League... At the conclusion of the season, he earned All-South Coast League, All-CIF Division 1A Second Team and South Coast League Co-Most Valuable Player honors.
Personal: Son of Regina and Derrick Faison... Has a younger brother named Justin... Psychology major... Enjoys hanging out with family and friends… Favorite pro athlete is Dwyane Wade and favorite pro teams are the Miami Heat and Baltimore Ravens... Aspires to play basketball after college.
