POMONA, Calif. – Making its final road trip of the 2016 season, the Cal Poly Pomona volleyball team will travel to play Cal State East Bay on Friday and Cal State Monterey Bay on Saturday.
Both matches are set to start at 7 p.m. The Pioneers are 8-6 in conference play while the Otters hold a 5-9 mark.
Beyond this weekend, the Broncos will wrap up the regular season with home contests against San Francisco State (0-15) and Sonoma State (11-4).
Samantha Figueroa continues to lead the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) in digs with an average of 5.11 per set. The junior from South Pasadena totaled 20 digs in the team's most recent match, a home contest at Cal State San Marcos.

Alina Smith continues to star as the Broncos' top setter. She ranks at No. 8 on the CCAA leaderboard with an average of 7.61 assists per set. Her top performance of the year so far came against Cal State Dominguez Hills, when she totaled 50 assists.
Fellow third-year
Alexandra Gresham has been a consistent contributor in many statistical categories, including ranking 7th on the conference leaderboard for blocks at an average of 0.91 per set.
Currently, CPP owns marks of 5-17 overall and 1-12 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).
