POMONA, Calif. - With the conclusion of the 2015-16 regular season on the horizon, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team is looking to build on its 19-5 overall record complete with a 12-5 record in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play with a mere three games remaining on the schedule.

The Broncos' record is good for third place in the CCAA, but there is a lot to play for as the team looks to secure a home game in the first round. In order to secure that home game for March 1, the No. 20 Broncos will need one more win and their remaining opponents include the conference-leading Chico State, Stanislaus State and Cal State San Marcos. In the first NCAA West Region poll, CPP held the No. 6 spot while Chico was at No. 3.

CPP will head north for two games over the weekend with the first game scheduled for Friday night against the Chico State Wildcats (20-3, 14-2 CCAA). The game between the two CCAA foes will be televised on ESPN3 with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Art Acker Gym in Chico.

With all 2,057 seats in Acker Gym officially sold out ahead of Friday night's ESPN3 doubleheader against Cal Poly Pomona, here's how you can watch from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. The women's game is scheduled to tip at 5:30 and then men's no earlier than 7:30.

There will not be any tickets available on the night of the game.

If you have purchased will-call tickets through the University Box Office, those are available at the University Box Office on the corner of third and Chestnut today until 6 p.m., Friday until 3 p.m., and at the ticket window outside of Acker Gym beginning Friday at 4:30.

For fans unable to attend the ESPN3 games in Chico, there will be a viewing party held at the Bronco Student Center.
The Wildcats and Broncos met back on Jan. 9 for a CCAA game at Kellogg Arena. The then No. 20 Green and Gold secured a 69-56 victory in that contest, a win that marked head coach Greg Kamansky's record-setting 330th, but Chico State has not lost a game since as they are currently on an eight-game winning streak.

After the Chico State game, the Broncos will head to Turlock to face-off against the Warriors of Stanislaus State on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The Warriors, who have a game scheduled for Friday against Humboldt State, enter the week with a 4-12 record in the CCAA and a 5-16 record overall.

Under head coach Greg Kamansky, the Broncos have a reputation of having one of the best defenses in Division II with this year being no exception. Entering play this week, the Green and Gold have limited opposing offenses to 59.4 points per game, which is good for No. 1 in D-II. The Kamansky-led Broncos have owned the No. 1 spot for four-straight years and have been in the top five for seven-consecutive seasons.

The Broncos will complete the regular season at Homecoming on Saturday, Feb. 27 against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars at 7:30 p.m. inside Kellogg Arena. The game will mark senior night for Jordan Faison, Barry Bell and Francois Tchoyi as all three of them are in their final season of eligibility with the Broncos.
