TURLOCK – Offense was hard to come by for the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer team as they fell to Stanislaus State 1-0 on the road on Sunday afternoon.
The Loss drops the Broncos to 9-5-1 overall and 5-4-1 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association.
Despite tallying 15 total shots on the day, the Broncos landed only three shots on goal, finishing without a score for just the third time this season.

Tasha Inong finished with a team-high while
Joni Gener finished with two shots and 10 other Broncos managed one shot in the game.
After just over an hour of play without a score, Stanislaus State scores the game-winner after a corner kick to the top of the box, followed by a header of the post and a rebound shot by Shawna McLaughlin for the lead.
With less than 10 minutes to go, Inong found an opening as the shot landed wide while
Emily Sanchez followed up with an attempted that was blocked, allowing the Warriors to hold on to their lead.
The Broncos will prepare for one match next week as they return to the road to face off against San Francisco State on Friday, Oct. 20, at 12 p.m.
