POMONA, Calif. – After scoring double-digit runs the game before, offense was hard to come by for the Cal Poly Pomona baseball team who fell in the series finale to Point Loma 6-2 on a cold Monday night at Scolinos Field.
The Broncos (3-5) drop the three game series against the Sea Lions (4-3) after leaving 11 runners stranded on the base.

Chris Stratton launched a ball into right field for an RBI triple, bringing in
Sean Grebeck for the run.
Stratton finished the game with a team high three hits along with a stolen base and a run.

Henry Omana started on the mound for the Broncos, finishing with a line of four innings, three hits, two earned runs with six strikeouts. In relief was
Wyatt Shackleford who allowed two hits in four 2/3 innings with four strikeouts.

With weather permitting, the Broncos will host three games in three games starting on Friday evening as they welcome in Cal State Monterey Bay for a non-conference series.
