POMONA, Calif. – With a playoff spot on the line, the Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball team fought hard against San Francisco State, holding on to a 65-59 win to clinch a berth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Postseason Tournament on Thursday night in Kellogg Arena.
The Broncos (11-12, 9-10 CCAA) were led offensively by

The Broncos shot 42 percent from the field and finished 13-of-15 from free throw line, including going six-for-six in the final stretches of the game.
Leading 47-45, the Broncos capitalized on an eight-point run, which included two threes by Jeremey Dennis and a fastbreak dunk by
Daylan Lawrence to earn a 10-point lead with 6:53 left to play.
Lawrence finished with nine points while
Nikhil Peters,
Riley Schaefer finished with eight points and
William Christmas added seven points and a team high nine rebounds.
The Broncos close out the regular season at home on Saturday against Sonoma State and will look to find out where they will travel to in the first round of the CCAA Playoffs on Tuesday, Feb. 28.
