Broncos Return to Kellogg Arena After Four Game Road Stint

 
Pomona – The Cal Poly Pomona Women's basketball team returns home for California Collegiate Athletic Association matchups against Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State Los Angeles.

Last Week: The Broncos (11-5, 8-3 CCAA) split their games last week, dominating Humboldt State 70-57 and losing to Chico State 71-59.  Priscilla Brooks took command of the offense, recording a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds against the Jacks while Casey McWilliam lead the Broncos in scoring with 14 points against the Wildcats.
 
By the Numbers: The Broncos are the number one scoring defense in the CCAA, holding opposing offenses to 58.7 points a game. As a team, they average 68.2 points a game. Brooks leads the team in scoring, averaging 11.4 points a game, and in boards, averaging 8.2 a game which ranks her eight in the conference. In the most recent matchup against the Toros, the Broncos won 78-66. Last season against the Golden Eagles, the Broncos lost on the road 51-48 and won at home 55-45.
 
Toro Report: Dominguez Hills (9-8, 7-5 CCAA) comes in with a two-game win streak. The Toro offense averages 70.4 points a game which in the second highest in the CCAA. However, they allow an average of 72 points a game which is the worst in the conference. CSUDH's Nautica Morrow is second in the CCAA in scoring, averaging 18.5 points a game.
 
Golden Eagle Report: Cal State Los Angeles (7-11, 6-6 CCAA) averages 63 points a game on 37 percent shooting. The Golden Eagles have taken care of the ball this season as they turn the ball over the second fewest times in the conference at 14. Rikke Fabricius leads CSULA in scoring with 15.2 points a game which is fifth in the CCAA.
