POMONA – The Cal Poly Pomona women's basketball team moved to second-place in the conference standings, completing a comeback against Sonoma State in overtime to win 79-76 on the road Saturday night.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half was back and forth for both teams as the Sonoma State Seawolves built an 18-12 lead after the first quarter of play.
- Down 34-26 at the start of the third quarter, CPP scored 10 straight points to regain the lead, 36-34.
- The Seawolves continued to find answers, taking their largest lead with just over a minute to play in the third quarter, 56-42.
- CPP ended the third quarter on with another run, scoring the final eight points to cut Sonoma's lead to six points.
- Down 65-70 in the fourth quarter,
Casey McWilliam sunk a big three, setting up two free throws by
Jackie Ricketson to send the game to overtime.
- In OT, McWilliam hit another three to give the Broncos the lead for the rest of the night, 76-74.
Dominique Dotson sealed the victory with two free throws in the final moments of the game.
KEY PERFORMERS:
- McWilliam led the Broncos offensively, totaling 22 points while shooting 6-of-11 from the field, including a mark of 5-for-7 from three-point range.

Priscilla Brooks finished with 14 points while collecting a team-high five rebounds and two steals.

Adaora Obi tallied a season-high 11 points against the Seawolves while adding four rebounds.
- Ricketson recorded 10 points and dished out a team-high five assists.
OUTSIDE THE BOX:
- McWilliam's 22 points was a career high for the sophomore guard who picked up her sixth double-digit scoring night of the season.
- The Broncos improved their winning streak to six games as they move into second-place in the CCAA standings.
- The Broncos are now 14-1 against Sonoma State dating back to the 2009-10 season.
