POMONA – With the regular season rapidly coming to an end, Cal Poly Pomona Women's basketball team returns home to play Sonoma State and San Francisco State in California Collegiate Athletic Association play as they look to secure a home playoff game in the upcoming tournament.

Last Week: The Broncos (16-8, 13-6 CCAA) fell short of beating U.C. San Diego, losing 68-66. The Broncos needed to beat San Diego for a chance at the top spot in the CCAA. They bounced back the next game to beat Cal State San Marcos 72-68.
Chelsea Waddy-Blow scored 23 points against the Cougars.
By the Numbers: Waddy-Blow leads the team in scoring, averaging 11.2 points a game.
Priscilla Brooks leads the team in boards, averaging 7.9 a game which ranks her eighth in the conference. The Broncos are the number one scoring defense in the CCAA, holding opposing offenses to 58.7 points a game. As a team, they average 67.4 points a game while winning by an average of 8.7 points a game. In the last matchup against the Seawolves, the Broncos escaped with a 79-76 overtime victory on the road thanks to a 22-point game by
Casey McWilliam. In their previous matchup against the Gators, the Broncos dominated the game 76-57 with an 18-point performance from Brooks.
Seawolves Report: Sonoma (10-12, 7-11 CCAA) needs to win out for a chance to make the CCAA tournament. The Seawolves offense is one of the worst in the conference, averaging 64 points a game. They are a highly efficient team as they shoot 42 percent from the floor and 36 percent from three-point range. Ugochi Anudokem leads the team in scoring with 13.4 points a game.
Gator Report: San Francisco's (5-16, 3-15 CCAA) season remains a throwaway as their record is last in the conference. Their defense is the worst in the CCAA as they allow opposing offenses to score an average of 70 points a game. Teams shoot 41 percent from the floor against the Gators. Jhaina Stephens leads the team in scoring, averaging 15.3 points a game which is sixth in the conference.
