The Broncos rise to 1-1 on the year while the Falcons go to 0-2.
CPP led for less than seven minutes in the contest, taking just its second lead of the game (and the lead for good) on a made jumper by
Justin Young with 6:17 to play in regulation.
Young also finished in double-figures, dropping in 10 points while
BJ Standley added nine.
Cal Poly Pomona will head even further north for a Tuesday night showdown with Western Washington, which starts at 7:00 pm.
