POMONA -- Cal Poly Pomona men's basketball senior William Christmas has been selected to both the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) All-West Region Team for the 2019-20 season.

Christmas, a native of Oceanside, Calif., averaged 16.5 points and a team-leading 7.0 rebounds for the Broncos, while shooting 50.9 percent overall from the floor. He posted three double-doubles on the year, helping CPP to a record of 23-7 overall and 17-5 in league play to finish as both the regular-season and CCAA Championships runners-up.  In his four years at Cal Poly Pomona, Christmas torched the nets for 1,463 points in 108 games (13.6 points per game in his career), which is third all-time in CPP men's basketball history. 

With 658 rebounds and 312 assists in his career, he also finishes his career in the Green and Gold sixth all-time in program history in those categories, and is the only player in the program's 73-year history to be in the all-time Top 10 list in all three statistical categories (points, rebounds and assists).

A four-time All-CCAA award winner and the CCAA Freshman of the Year in 2016-17, this is Christmas' third All-West region selection.

The NABC All-District Teams are selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC in NCAA Division II.  The D2CCA all-region teams are selected by the sports information directors from the schools in the west region.
