2021 United Soccer Coaches Men's Soccer Division II All-West Region Team
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Four Cal Poly Pomona men's soccer student-athletes were selected to the 2021 United Soccer Coaches Division II All-West Region Team, it was announced by the organization Tuesday. Senior

Paul Henschke earned First Team honors while senior

Jerry Ramirez were Third Team selections.
Faria, from Porto Alegre, Brazil, earns his first United Soccer Coaches All-West Region nod with 10 goals and and four assists from the midfield position this season. His 10 goals are a career-high, and with 23 goals in his three years at CPP, he finished his career tied for fifth all-time in program history. He also has 15 career assists, which is tied for seventh all-time for the Broncos.
Henschke, a native of Berlin, Germany, ended the year as the team's leading scorer this season with 13 goals, which tied for the seventh-most in a single-season in CPP men's soccer history. The CCAA Newcomer of the Year has scored in 11 of the 23 games he appeared in this season and is the second-leading scorer in the conference.
Bonanken, from Eastvale, Calif., has played a key role on defense that has allowed only one goal per contest this season, including nine shutouts, which is the seventh-most in all of Division II this season.
Ramirez, from Corona, Calif., tied Faria for the second-most goals and assists on the team this season with 10 and 4, respectively.
Cal Poly Pomona saw its season come to an end last weekend in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship Tournament, finishing with a 14-5-4 record in 2021.
